Homemade Fried Rice Recipe


 
Fried rice is a very popular dish in all over the world. It is mainly a Chinese dish but now world love it. It can be customized with different protein and vegetable options. We can use different types of rice. Some times we can use biryani rice, normal rice, each and every types of it. We have to check rice should not be overcooked.
We can add different types of veggies. Like beans, capsicum, carrot, spring onion, mushroom, green peas etc. For protein we can add egg, chicken etc. It's totally up to a user friendly customized dish.

Here is the recipe of egg fried rice


Ingredients:

•             3 cups cooked rice

             2 tbsp oil 

             1 small onion, diced

             2 cloves garlic, minced

             1 cup vegetables (capsicum, carrot, beans )

             2 eggs, beaten

             2 tbsp soy sauce

•             Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions:

1.            Heat the oil in a non-sticky pan.

2.            Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.

3.            Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.

4.            Push the vegetables to the side of the pan, creating a space in the center. Add the beaten eggs to the center of the pan and scramble them until cooked.

5.            Add the cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps with a fork.

6.            Add the soya sauce, salt, and pepper to the pan and fry all together for 2-3 minutes.

7.            Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade fried rice!
